World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice. Motivated by our faith in Jesus Christ, we serve alongside the poor and oppressed as a demonstration of God’s unconditional love for all people.

In 2015, 80.5 percent of World Vision's total operating expenses were used for programs that benefit children, families, and communities in need.

World Vision is a Christian relief, development, and advocacy organization working to create lasting change in the lives of children, families, and communities to overcome poverty and injustice. Inspired by our Christian values, World Vision is dedicated to working with the world's most vulnerable people regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or gender.

Costs, which are based on estimates at the time of planning, may vary from country to country. Whenever possible, items or services will be procured locally and provided to a child or family in need as part of a project in their community. Community projects are part of a larger World Vision development program that helps entire communities overcome poverty and achieve self-reliance.
